Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant position is onsite in Hampton, VA, with pay of $65,000–$75,000 per year. What you'll do

• Maintain accounting and finance standards, procedures, and deadlines
• respond to departmental inquiries and provide analysis
• support close cycles and reconciliations
• code invoices and assist with monthly close
• prepare budget-to-actual reports
• process accounts payable and receivable activities
• reconcile bank, payroll, cash disbursement, and customer accounts
• support audits and internal controls
• manage fixed assets and depreciation
• file tax forms
• coordinate accounting software maintenance.
