MRI Technologist - Charleston, SC. This is an onsite position with a weekend option (Friday-Sunday, 7:30a-8p). Compensation includes competitive pay plus weekend option differential. Trident Medical Center is part of HCA Healthcare. This role exists to perform MRI examinations with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist, operating diagnostic MRI equipment and preparing the room with necessary supplies, while ensuring patient and staff safety from the magnetic field.

What you'll do

• Performs MRI examinations with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist.
• Operates diagnostic MRI equipment and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling, transporting patients, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team.
• Technologist is responsible for the Protection patients and staff from the magnetic field, including but not limited to all safety measures.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology preferred

Experience

Experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
