Staff Nurse — Long-Term Care

The Staff Nurse role is onsite in Rockford, IL, with pay of $40–$45 per hour. Alden Park Strathmoor’s nursing team provides direct care and supervises nursing assistants to maintain quality care. The role delivers nursing services to residents and oversees day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with facility policies and applicable standards. It supports individualized care through assessments, medication and treatment administration, documentation, communication with physicians and families, and supervision of nursing personnel.

What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants
• support care plans and participate in care conferences
• conduct rounds and monitor staff practices
• complete admission, transfer, and discharge assessments and processes
• administer medications and treatments as ordered
• document care and maintain records
• communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and families
• coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic services
• report incidents and concerns.
