What you'll do

• Greet customers and provide service throughout the shopping experience
• direct customers to merchandise and answer basic product questions
• assist on the sales floor or in other departments as needed
• stay informed about advertised items and specials
• process sales, returns, exchanges, layaways, special orders, transfers, and credit card transactions
• open and close the register
• maintain the cash-wrap area
• answer and direct phone calls
• alert management to suspicious activity
• support cash control and inventory shrinkage prevention.
