The Environmental Engineer / Project Manager role is available onsite or hybrid from Clifton Park, NY, or from the new Buffalo, NY office. Compensation is $90,000–$130,000 per year. HRP Associates is an environmental and engineering consulting firm serving industrial, commercial, municipal, and institutional clients. The engineer manages environmental consulting projects from proposal through completion, combining technical oversight, client management, and team leadership. The role supports investigation, remediation, due diligence, and regulatory compliance work while contributing to the growth of HRP’s New York region.

What you'll do

• Manage environmental projects for technical quality, budget, and client satisfaction
• lead site investigations and remediation, including field oversight, data interpretation, and reporting
• oversee Phase I/II environmental site assessments and compliance programs
• serve as primary client contact
• mentor junior staff
• coordinate internal teams and subcontractors
• prepare reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals
• support business development.
