The Software Engineer, Missile Defense Program Office role is 100% onsite in King George, VA. Compensation is $100,000–$115,000 per year. The role supports the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office and its work to deliver missile defense capability to the Fleet. Despite the title, this is a program-office support role rather than a software development position. It supports program tracking, logistics, status reporting, interface documentation, and performance assessment and verification so the program team can oversee system performance.

What you'll do

• Track the Surface to Air Missile program and manage logistics
• integrate program and project status into dashboards and reports
• document system attributes and functions in interface control documents
• and provide performance assessment and verification support to the Systems Engineer, including developing, monitoring, and implementing plans to assess and verify system performance.
