What you'll do

• Prepare patients for procedures by completing assessments, obtaining permits, providing pre-op teaching, starting IVs, placing electrodes, and checking pulses
• report relevant findings to the cardiologist
• remove arterial and venous sheaths according to protocol
• monitor physiologic parameters and patient safety
• provide discharge instructions
• coordinate care with nursing units and other departments
• respond to emergencies.
