Summer Construction Management Intern – Philadelphia

Job overview

Summer Construction Management Intern is an onsite, 10-week internship based in North Wales, PA, with pay of $20 per hour. FCL Builders is an employee-owned industrial design-build general contractor, and the program provides exposure to the construction project lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Rotate through pre-construction, production, and field operations
• learn proposal and budgeting processes
• review drawings and perform conceptual estimating and quantity takeoffs
• assist with bidding, subcontractor selection, permitting, scheduling, and project documentation
• attend site meetings and walks
• learn jobsite safety practices
• contribute to project closeout.
