The RCA Caseworker role is onsite in Houston, TX. Pay is $49,000 per year. The caseworker enrolls eligible clients in Refugee Cash Assistance and helps ensure they understand and comply with program requirements. Accurate eligibility screening, case records, payment administration, database updates, and coordination with employment and refugee-services teams support clients’ access to assistance and their path to self-sufficiency.

What you'll do

• Enroll eligible refugees, asylees, and other populations in RCA
• screen walk-in clients and refer them to other refugee services as needed
• conduct orientations
• maintain case files and notes
• disburse monthly benefits according to program guidelines
• update program databases
• communicate with clients about compliance
• coordinate monthly compliance data with the Employment team
• review cases and report compliance issues
• prepare monitoring materials
• activate and distribute debit cards and record issuance.
