Job overview

The Cook / Line Prep Cook role is onsite in Ashburn, VA, and full-time. Pay is $18–$22 per hour. XCAL operates a facility that includes a full-service restaurant and members lounge as part of its shooting sports and fitness destination. The cook prepares food to specifications, sets up and stocks kitchen stations, and works with the kitchen team to deliver timely, high-quality menu items. Following sanitation and safety standards and maintaining an organized station contribute to customer satisfaction and smooth service.

What you'll do

• Set up and stock stations
• prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
• cook menu items with kitchen staff
• follow Executive or Sous Chef instructions
• clean the station and handle leftover food
• stock inventory
• ensure food is served simultaneously, at high quality, and on time
• comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
• maintain a professional approach with coworkers and customers.
