Transportation Aide

Job overview

The Transportation Aide role is onsite in Lehighton, PA; pay is $15 per hour. Behavioral Health Associates provides an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. The aide assists the driver in transporting students safely to and from school, supports students entering and exiting the vehicle, and monitors and reports student behavior during transport. The role also helps maintain a clean school vehicle and follows transportation safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Assist the driver with safe student transportation to and from school
• help students enter and exit the vehicle
• monitor and supervise student behavior and report incidents to the Program Director
• comply with transportation laws, regulations, and DOT safe-driving requirements
• help maintain a clean school vehicle
• perform other assigned duties.
