Surgical Coordinator

What you'll do

• Coordinate procedures with physicians, patients, and surgical facilities
• maintain accurate surgical schedules
• communicate preparation instructions and post-operative requirements
• verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits
• serve as a point of contact
• track authorizations and coordinate with the authorization team
• maintain patient and surgical documentation in the EHR
• resolve scheduling conflicts and escalate issues.

Why this role
