The SkillBridge Field Crew role is an onsite, hands-on training program based in Hebron, OH, with training in active construction job-site environments. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. ClearPath Utility Solutions provides underground utility construction and infrastructure services across Ohio and surrounding regions. The program prepares approved Defense-Oriented Workforce SkillBridge participants, transitioning service members, and veterans for work as horizontal directional drilling operators or other utility construction professionals. Through classroom instruction, mentorship, and field training, participants develop skills in drilling operations, utility locating, equipment maintenance, safety, and crew coordination.

What you'll do

• Participate in structured training in horizontal directional drilling operations, utility locating, equipment inspection and preventive maintenance, bore planning, drilling fluid systems, bore tracking, vacuum excavation, traffic control, underground utility installation, crew coordination, and project documentation
• work alongside experienced operators, project managers, and safety personnel
