Job overview

The Licensed Professional Counselor Clinical Supervisor and Counselor role is based at the Clarkston, MI clinic, with flexible work-from-home options available; compensation is commission-based, with authorized outreach paid at $20 per hour. Ellie Mental Health–Clarkston provides in-person and telehealth care throughout Michigan, with administrative and billing support for clinicians. The counselor provides outpatient therapy and supervises limited licensed professional counselors. The role supports client care and clinician development through assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, supervision, documentation review, and clinical consultation, while also contributing to caseload development and quality improvement.

What you'll do

  • Conduct assessments, establish diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy
  • complete clinical documentation
  • provide individual and group supervision to assigned LLPCs
  • review and co-sign supervisee documentation
  • monitor clinical competence, ethics, scope, risk management, documentation, and licensure progress
  • provide required consultation and clinical escalation
  • maintain supervision records
  • support scheduling consistency, retention, outreach, team consultation, and quality improvement.

Why this role

Requires a current unrestricted Michigan LPC license and an ACS credential or documented eligibility to supervise LLPCs through a Michigan-recognized pathway. At least one evening is required; full-time clinicians must average 25 direct client-facing hours weekly and initially offer approximately 35 scheduling hours weekly.
