Field Service Representative

Job overview

The Field Service Representative role is based in Glen Allen, VA, with extensive travel of 70–80% of the time, approximately 250 days per year; assignments may include Canada and foreign countries. The stated pay range is $30–$36 per hour. The role is part of Veolia’s Water Technology Business, which works on water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy challenges. The representative manages commissioning, installation, and optimization of water treatment plants, serving as a technical link among engineering, construction, control systems, vendors, and customers. The work helps ensure equipment and control systems meet specifications and supports reliable plant operation.

What you'll do

• Participate in design and safety reviews
• support construction and installation
• develop commissioning schedules and performance plans
• commission water treatment plants and verify equipment and control systems
• perform PLC/HMI activities and factory acceptance tests
• develop operating procedures and training
• provide customer technical support
• conduct inspections and prepare technical reports.
