What you'll do

• Weigh metal powders to engineering requirements
• operate production equipment and observe for misalignment or malfunction
• load parts for furnace operation
• operate and adjust hydraulic presses to produce powder compacts
• inspect parts and measure dimensions using tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators
• perform setups, changeovers, process monitoring, equipment inspections, housekeeping, and production recordkeeping
• assist with troubleshooting and minor maintenance
• operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial equipment
• cross-train on multiple machines.
