The work supports safe, compliant medication care for patients and the community.

What you'll do

• Accept, validate, interpret, and process prescription orders
• contact physicians about appropriate drug therapy
• conduct drug utilization reviews and clinical interventions
• provide physician education and counseling
• manage formulary processes, therapeutic interchange or substitution, and coverage reviews
• follow pharmacy procedures and applicable DEA and state pharmacy board requirements.
