What you'll do

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities to assess compliance with federal regulations
• prepare for surveys through facility tours, observation, record review, and interviews
• evaluate quality of care, consumer rights, and physical plant
• communicate deficiencies to facility personnel
• assess plans of correction and conduct follow-up visits
• assist with training and participate in work groups as needed.
