Senior Solar Technician

The Senior Solar Technician is an onsite field role based in Columbia, SC, with compensation of $36–$43 per hour. The role leads and performs field service work at utility-scale solar facilities, helping ensure safe, timely maintenance and repair while training junior technicians and supporting reliable operations for clients.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar generators
• lead commissioning, quality inspections, and preventive maintenance as needed
• submit field service reports
• train junior field staff and lead safe work practices
• perform vegetation maintenance as required
• support customer service
• participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation
• perform occasional overtime and overnight travel.

Approximately 90% of work time is in the field; weekend and holiday on-call bonus is $30 per day.
