What you'll do

• Repair, rebuild, modify, and assemble railroad freight cars and parts in accordance with AAR and federal requirements
• perform AAR inspections and complete repair billing cards
• use tools and equipment including pneumatic and hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, welders, cutting torches, cranes, and forklifts
• interpret work orders and complete repairs with the team
• follow safety precautions and quality processes
• document work activities.
