Employment and Education Case Manager

The Employment and Education Case Manager role is onsite in Rockford, IL. Pay is $20–$23 per hour, and the position offers 40 hours per week with overtime eligibility. Carpenter’s Place is a faith-based nonprofit that provides tools to help rebuild the lives of people experiencing homelessness and families at risk. The case manager supports adults with employment and education goals while also providing general case management and Dayroom assistance. The role coordinates services, helps participants address barriers, connects them with employers and educational opportunities, and supports stabilization through individualized planning and follow-up.

What you'll do

• Provide crisis intervention and general case management
• arrange transportation assistance
• deliver community outreach presentations
• coordinate with staff, volunteers, and service providers
• support employment assessment, resumes, interview skills, job search, placement, training, and retention
• develop and coordinate adult education opportunities
• teach classes and maintain attendance and completion records
• help participants overcome barriers to education
• provide Family Service Program employment and education support.
