Process Technician

The Process Technician role is onsite in Tiffin, OH. Compensation is not specified. The position supports JVIS plant operations and engineering sample runs. The technician helps keep production equipment and processes operating by starting up and shutting down equipment, responding to operator-reported issues, checking setups and materials, and communicating production concerns across shifts.

What you'll do

• Start up and shut down equipment
• complete first-piece sign-off
• verify setup and materials against the bill of materials and regrind requirements
• respond to operator issues and Plantstar calls
• communicate concerns during shift handoffs and plant-floor walkthroughs
• support engineering sample runs
• direct job setters on tool changes and job-set sign-offs
• participate in health, safety, and environmental activities
• prepare auxiliary items
• purge and clean molds and save and tag the last shot
• maintain quality-system compliance.
