What you'll do

• Safely operate diesel-powered tractor-trailer combinations on long-distance routes
• inspect equipment and report defects
• hook and unhook trailers
• load and unload freight
• ensure shipping documents accompany shipments
• maintain required driving, fuel, and mileage records
• report accidents, delays, and cargo irregularities
• comply with safety procedures and regulations
• provide customer service.

Why this role
