The Kitchen Cook works onsite in San Jose, CA, at Testarossa Winery’s offsite kitchen. Pay is $24–$27 per hour. The culinary team prepares seasonal farm-to-table California cuisine for winery corporate, social, and club events. The cook prepares and supports execution of menu items, maintains ingredient organization and food-safety practices, and helps manage inventory. This work supports event service and the winery’s food-and-wine offerings.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook menu items with direction from executive and sous chefs
• label, stock, and organize ingredients according to sanitation and food-safety guidelines
• manage ingredients and inventory and communicate with chefs
• support event line execution, wine bar food preparation, pastry and baking preparation, and porter duties. Tuesday–Thursday availability is required
• drive between the San Jose kitchen and Los Gatos winery as needed.

Why this role
