This role exists to oversee all aspects of site production performance. The manager creates a work environment that promotes safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness while developing teams to achieve corporate improvement objectives and driving best practices through the organization.

What you'll do

• Coordinate activities to assure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
• ensure compliance with behavior-based safety initiatives
• execute quality control plans
• assess on-time delivery performance
• manage labor, overtime, and expenditures
• determine weekly staffing requirements
• analyze production reports to determine root causes of variance
• develop and execute corrective actions
• form teams to improve productivity
• initiate cost reduction programs
• facilitate Gemba walks
• direct plant supervision
• coach and mentor team members
• research capital equipment.
