What you'll do

• Perform CT, X-ray, and related imaging procedures
• use radiation safety measures
• obtain patient histories and notify the radiologist as needed
• screen patients for CT contrast safety
• explain procedures and monitor patient comfort
• start IVs and administer contrast as directed
• perform laboratory procedures and testing
• maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
• coordinate with staff and other departments.
