Staff Accountant

What you'll do

• Process invoices and check requests
• maintain invoice logs and enter payment batches in Lawson A/P
• verify accounting codes and reconcile payment data
• monitor outstanding payments
• maintain vendor files
• reconcile Metro bus pass usage and prepare related journal entries
• reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and petty cash
• prepare journal entries
• deposit donation checks
• track grant reimbursement timesheets
• support audits and site monitoring
• maintain procedure documentation
• prepare monthly grant billing, reporting, and reconciliation.

Why this role

Requires two years of full-cycle accounts payable, general ledger, and reconciliation experience. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred; Lawson Accounting System experience is highly desirable.
