What you'll do

• Teach a robust literature curriculum prioritizing inclusive texts.
• Guide students to analyze literary and non-narrative texts.
• Develop students’ independent and collaborative reading, writing, and discussion skills.
• Facilitate student-led discourse.
• Analyze student comprehension and writing regularly.
• Partner with department and grade level team on content and instructional strategies.
• Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze data.
• Learn and implement differentiation strategies.
• Build positive relationships with students and families.
• Engage in professional development.
