The Electrical Test Engineer II role is an onsite position in Mukilteo, WA. Pay is $105,000–$130,000 per year. Karman Space & Defense designs, develops, and produces systems for space and defense programs. The engineer develops and supports electronic hardware and test systems across product development, qualification, and production. Test methods, equipment, procedures, and reporting help ensure products meet technical and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Evaluate program requirements and select test methods and equipment
• review test system architecture and support hardware and software implementation
• develop software libraries and drivers for test equipment
• support development, qualification, and production testing
• draft procedures, review data, and generate reports
• design schematics and PCBs
• and draft or review electrical drawings, CCAs, cable harnesses, and bills of materials.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field and 2–5 years of aerospace, defense, or avionics experience. Skills include schematic capture, PCB layout, soldering, harness design, electrical test equipment, LabVIEW or C-family languages, and circuit simulation. No travel required; U.S. person status is required under export control laws.
