The Arts and Crafts Leader – Air-Dry Clay role is an onsite, part-time position in Visalia, CA, scheduled Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM, August 13 through September 18, 2026. Pay is $24–$28 per hour. The program provides after-school enrichment for middle school students. The leader plans and guides hands-on clay activities that teach foundational sculpting and design techniques while supporting students’ creativity, problem-solving, and artistic confidence.

What you'll do

• Plan and lead air-dry clay projects and art activities
• teach hand-building, shaping, texturing, carving, and finishing
• encourage creative expression and skill development
• demonstrate proper use and care of materials
• maintain a clean, organized workspace
• supervise students and support their safety
• communicate with parents, staff, and coordinators
• and arrive prepared with lesson plans and supplies.
