• Establish and monitor care standards and recommend evidence-based practice changes
• collaborate with and instruct nursing staff in the nursing process
• maintain and teach specialized knowledge and techniques in the specialty area
• consult with nursing and interprofessional teams on care delivery
• participate in quality improvement and monitor quality and safety trends
• support team education and professional development.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing, three years of related experience, a California Registered Nurse license, BLS, advanced life support for the specialty (NRP/PALS/ACLS), and certification in the specialty. Enrollment in an accredited Clinical Nurse Specialist program is preferred.
