The CPT Counselor, Renewal Center works onsite in Greenville, SC. Pay is $20 per hour. The role supports Miracle Hill Ministries’ services for people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. The counselor provides assessment, counseling, case management, group facilitation, education, and coordination of support services. The work helps guests pursue stability, recovery, healthy relationships, and independence through evidence-based services that are biblically supported and twelve-step compatible.

What you'll do

• Provide case management for assigned guests
• assess needs and provide counseling, group facilitation, teaching, and service coordination
• support guests seeking change related to homelessness, addiction, or mental health
• apply biblical principles in counseling
• coordinate internal and community services
• maintain guest records in Mission Tracker
• prepare and conduct classes when serving in an addiction recovery facility
• attend required training and meetings
• maintain counseling certification.

Why this role

The posting requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, three years of related experience, and agreement with the ministry’s doctrinal statement and employment qualifications. A master’s degree and state licensure are preferred; AACC or another nationally recognized counseling organization is listed.
