The Caregiver — Short Shifts role is in person in Evanston, IL. Compensation is $16.50–$18.00 per hour. Amada Senior Care provides compassionate, non-medical home care for seniors and their families. The caregiver assists clients with activities of daily living and supports their comfort, well-being, and independence. Duties include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and reporting changes in clients’ health status.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, walking, and other daily living activities
• provide companionship and emotional support
• help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• escort clients to appointments and run errands
• monitor and report changes in health status
• use behavior-management techniques when necessary.
