This role develops and coordinates code-compliant, cost-effective electrical designs for commercial and industrial construction projects. It provides technical leadership from concept through construction, supports project teams and customers, and mentors junior designers and engineers.

What you'll do

• Develop project concepts and complete electrical designs with owners, customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• engineer systems to meet objectives, codes, schedules, and budgets
• prepare calculations, layouts, specifications, and construction documents
• coordinate with project teams and design professionals
• support preconstruction and estimating
• present design concepts and value-engineering options
• provide technical leadership through project completion
• review documents for accuracy, constructability, quality, and code compliance
• mentor junior designers and engineers
• promote design consistency and quality control.
