What you'll do

• Assist with fiber-optic cable preparation and splicing
• learn fusion splicing on single-mode and multimode cables
• assist with OTDR and power-meter testing
• read basic construction prints and splice diagrams
• install enclosures, terminals, and related equipment
• support aerial and underground crews
• document completed work
• follow safety policies
• use tools and equipment safely
• maintain organized work areas, tools, and vehicles
• travel to job sites as needed.
