The Cream Room Operator 1st Shift role is onsite at Palmer Candy Company’s Bluff Street facility in Sioux City, IA. The schedule is Monday–Friday: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Friday shifts vary from 6 to 10 hours, and Saturday hours may be scheduled based on business needs. Compensation starts at $21.70 per hour. The role supports production and packaging of confectionery products. The operator runs production-line activities and helps ensure products are made and packaged safely, accurately, and to company standards. The work includes quality and equipment checks, sanitation and changeover procedures, production records, and coordination with team members to meet production needs.

What you'll do

• Operate production-line activities
• package products
• perform quality, weight, percentage, and equipment checks
• maintain sanitation and allergen procedures
• prepare supplies and equipment
• clean and inspect equipment
• maintain inventory, lot, date-code, and production records
• assist with line operations and training
• use REDZONE software
• work overtime as needed.
