Medication Aide

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to orders and protocols
• store, handle, and dispose of medications properly
• monitor for adverse reactions
• observe and report health or behavior changes
• measure and record vital signs as needed
• assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision
• encourage participation in wellness activities
• follow infection control procedures
• maintain organized and secure medication carts and records
• respond to emergencies.
