Senior Accountant

The role exists to maintain accurate and timely financial records, with emphasis on job costing, reconciliations, and month-end close, so project and company financial information is properly reflected.

What you'll do

• Perform monthly and year-end close activities
• prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• research discrepancies
• support intercompany transactions, cash management, and bank reconciliations
• maintain fixed asset schedules
• monitor project costs and job-cost activity
• partner with Project Managers and Operations
• support AP and AR oversight
• assist with audits and accounting procedure improvements.

Why this role

Five or more years of progressive accounting experience and construction accounting experience required; bachelor’s degree, NetSuite and Procore experience, and CPA or CPA candidacy preferred; valid North Carolina driver’s license required.
