What you'll do

• Assist with pre- and post-operative gynecology care
• prepare exam rooms and surgical instruments
• maintain treatment supplies and equipment using sterile technique
• support minor in-office procedures, wound care, and specimen collection
• coordinate patient education and follow-up appointments
• maintain medical records and documentation
• process referrals
• perform assigned administrative and clerical tasks including chart preparation, scheduling, data entry, phone calls, and patient registration.

Why this role

Requires a valid Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or ability to obtain certification within 90 days. One to two years of medical assistant experience is requested; surgical or women’s health experience is highly preferred. Travel to other Ironwood locations is required.
