Registered Nurse (RN) — Wellness Visits

The Registered Nurse (RN) — Wellness Visits role is onsite in Athens, TN, part time for two to three days per week; compensation is not specified. The nurse will support Athens Medical Group’s Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.

What you'll do

• Prepare and update patient records in the electronic health record
• contact patients as directed
• room and prepare patients for examinations
• record vital signs
• perform procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and Holter monitoring
• assist providers
• administer medications and provide patient education
• maintain exam rooms
• and handle phone nursing, triage, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescription calls as appropriate.
