Resident Assistant — Evening Shift

Job overview

The Resident Assistant role is onsite in Northfield, MN, with a 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. schedule, 64–80 hours per pay period, and a holiday requirement. Pay is $19–$23 per hour. The role is part of Vivie’s Nursing department and supports residents in the community. The assistant provides hands-on daily support and companionship while helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and engagement. The work includes personal care, meals, housekeeping, social and wellness activities, and reporting changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility
• support meals, restorative care, and life skills
• encourage social, recreational, and wellness activities
• maintain resident spaces through housekeeping and laundry
• prepare and serve meals and snacks
• report health or emotional changes to nursing staff
• welcome new residents.
