What you'll do

• Clean, cut, prepare, and cook meat, fish, and poultry to safe temperatures
• prepare menu items according to menus, dietary or nutritional requirements, and portion counts
• bake breads, rolls, and pastries
• portion and serve food
• wash cooking equipment and dishes
• inventory supplies and equipment
• assist with meal and menu planning
• clean and inspect kitchen equipment and work areas.
