The Radiologic Technologist position is onsite in Albany, NY, and compensation is $31–$49 per hour. OrthoNY is an orthopedic practice serving the Capital Region. The technologist produces diagnostic medical radiographs that support accurate diagnoses and patient care. The role also prepares and instructs patients, operates imaging equipment, assists physicians, and may perform medical assistant duties when required.

What you'll do

• Document relevant patient history and limitations
• prepare and instruct patients for procedures
• select and operate equipment and recognize conditions needed for successful procedures
• perform medical assistant duties when required, including cast removal, stitch and staple removal, and dressing changes
• and assist physicians in patient care as requested.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology school, an unrestricted New York State Radiologic Technologist license, and ARRT certification. One to two years of experience is preferred; CPR/BLS is preferred. Travel to other OrthoNY locations may be needed, and reliable transportation is essential.
