The Teacher Assistant – Infant, Toddler, and Preschool role is onsite in Park Rapids, MN, with pay of $22.35–$23.10 per hour. The position supports Mahube-Otwa’s Park Rapids Head Start Century Preschool and Park Rapids Kids Plus Early Head Start Infant and Toddler Center. The role supports children’s early learning and classroom activities while helping maintain a positive, safe environment for children, families, and staff. The posting describes a Monday–Friday, 40-hour workweek with a seasonal summer layoff.

What you'll do

• Support classroom activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool children
• work cooperatively with children, staff, and parents
• handle classroom situations and emergencies
• maintain confidentiality
• use basic computer skills
• maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• complete required background checks. A Child Development Associate credential is required within 12 months if not held at hire
• bus-driving duties and CDL requirements apply only to the Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver assignment.
