Graduate TC Mentor

Job overview

The Graduate TC Mentor role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, and pays $19.50 per hour. Odyssey House is a nonprofit mental health and addiction treatment center; this role supports clients in its treatment programs. The mentor helps clients engage with treatment concepts and behavioral groups, provides support and accountability, and serves as a positive role model. Working closely with the program manager, the mentor contributes to client care and the program's daily operations.

What you'll do

• Teach concepts to staff and clients
• sit in on level groups as needed
• help facilitate behavioral groups
• mentor upper house clients
• hold clients accountable to Odyssey House standards
• support clients who are struggling
• run concept groups
• transport clients
• work with the program manager
• learn and take notes in Uwits and Best Notes
• attend TC mentor meetings Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m.

Why this role
