Real Estate Attorney

Job overview

The Real Estate Attorney role is onsite in North Charleston, SC, with compensation of $100,000–$150,000 per year. The attorney will join a well-established Real Estate Practice Group at the client’s full-service law firm. The attorney advises clients on real estate transactions and development matters, prepares and negotiates transaction documents, and helps complete closings. Legal research and analysis support clients’ real estate projects and related land-use decisions.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, development, subdivision, zoning, and real estate financing
• draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents
• review title examinations, commitments, and surveys
• issue and respond to title objections
• coordinate real estate closings
• research and analyze land-use, zoning, and environmental matters.
