Security Manager

The Security Manager role is onsite in Washington, DC. The anticipated base salary is $100,000–$110,000 per year, with possible additional bonus compensation. The manager supports the safety and security of the organization’s facility, events, personnel, and operations. The role develops security plans, assesses and mitigates risks, coordinates protection and incident response, and builds trusted working relationships with internal and external partners. Approximately 15% travel is expected.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement security plans for facilities, personnel, executives, and events
• conduct risk assessments and mitigation
• collect and communicate threat intelligence
• oversee access control, perimeter security, surveillance, and other security technologies
• coordinate event and executive security operations
• work with law enforcement, government officials, and security partners
• manage vendors and service quality
• respond to incidents and emergencies
• travel as needed.
