The Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department, Days role is onsite in Moses Lake, WA. The nurse works with patients, physicians, and clinicians to support patient care and outcomes at Samaritan Healthcare. The RN provides and coordinates care for assigned patients, using assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation to address patient needs. The role also supports patient education, safe delegation, and effective coordination within the Emergency Department.

What you'll do

• Assess and collect data on patients’ physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• implement care according to procedures, policies, and care plans
• identify learning needs and provide patient teaching
• document in electronic or paper records
• delegate and supervise care activities
• organize and prioritize care
• maintain safety and infection-control practices
• and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other clinicians. May function as Charge Nurse. Schedule is 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM–7:30 PM on various days. Requires current Washington RN licensure and BLS within 30 days
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are to be obtained within specified periods after hire.
