The Out of School Enrichment Leader, Y-Club role is onsite at participating Stark County school and YMCA branch locations in Ohio; the listing is based in Canton, OH. Pay is $12.35–$13 per hour. The YMCA of Central Stark County’s licensed before- and after-school program serves children in grades K–6. The leader creates a safe, welcoming environment and guides activities that support children’s social-emotional skills, friendships, curiosity, confidence, and leadership. The role also works with families and school partners to support children’s growth and meet program licensing and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead groups of K–6 children in the licensed before- and after-school Y Club program
• lead games and activities including arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social-emotional skills
• support children’s safety and supervision
• build relationships with parents, school employees, and administrators
• follow State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements.
