This role is responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) after surgical procedures, ensuring their recovery and stability before discharge.

What you'll do

• Prepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided.
• Demonstrate proper airway management techniques.
• Monitor patients according to policy (vital signs, temperature, cardiac, etc.).
• Exhibit proper technique for IV catheter insertion, maintenance, and removal.
• Perform and document head-to-toe evaluations.
• Check dressings and operative sites, reporting abnormalities.
• Provide a safe and comforting environment.
• Ensure patients meet discharge criteria.

What we're looking for

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing

Experience

1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
